Born Primitive products are designed with performance, mobility, and comfort in mind. Because our garments and footwear are developed around specific movement patterns and use cases, the fit may differ from what you’re accustomed to in other brands.

When comparing sizing:

Apparel

Sizing can vary significantly between brands based on the cut, fabric stretch, intended fit, and garment construction. We recommend using the Born Primitive size chart located on each product page, along with any product-specific fit notes, rather than assuming your usual size from another brand will translate exactly.

For performance apparel, keep in mind that some styles are intentionally designed for a more fitted or athletic feel, while others may have a more relaxed fit.

Tactical & Outdoor Apparel

Many of our tactical and outdoor styles are designed with mobility-focused features, including stretch materials, articulated construction, and gusseted designs. These features allow for a greater range of movement than traditional rigid-fit garments.
