How Do UPS Access Point Deliveries Work?Updated 7 hours ago

When you select a UPS Access Point for delivery, your package will be sent to the pickup location of your choice. Here’s what to know:

How to Pick Up Your Package:

The “Ship To” name on the label will display the name of the pickup location, not your name. However, your name will appear on the bottom half of the shipping label, which the location will use to locate your package in their system. Be sure to provide your full name at pickup.

A valid photo ID that matches the pickup name on the order is required to collect your package.

Delivery Status and Timing:

Standard delivery timeframes are 3-7 business days after fulfillment. A package is not considered fully delivered until it’s marked “Ready for Customer Pickup.”
Sometimes, a package may be scanned as “Delivered” before the Access Point has officially received and processed it beyond drop off at the dock. Please allow a bit of extra time for shelving.

If the package still hasn’t surfaced within 5 business days of the “Ready for Customer Pickup” scan, let us know—we’ll step in. That window allows UPS time to resolve any internal delays or misplacements. After that, we can discuss next steps.

Note: Business days exclude weekends and holidays.

What if the pickup point can’t accept my package?

If the Access Point is unable to receive your package due to reaching capacity, we’ll contact you directly prior to shipping to update the delivery point.

What if my package gets returned to sender?

In the event your package is returned to us, we’ll reach out as soon as it arrives back at our facility to verify your delivery information and arrange to reship it one time.

We're always happy to help—reach out if anything seems off or if you need further assistance!
