What is the “Resell on Poshmark” option and how does it work?Updated 23 days ago
The “Resell on Poshmark” option gives eligible Born Primitive customers an easy way to give their gear a second life by creating a resale listing through Poshmark.
If available, this option can be accessed directly through the Born Primitive Return Portal and allows you to use your original item details to help create a resale listing.
Please note: All resale transactions are completed directly through Poshmark and are subject to Poshmark’s Terms & Conditions, fees, and policies. Born Primitive is not responsible for resale listings, payments, shipping, buyer interactions, or transactions completed through Poshmark.
How do I resell an item on Poshmark?
To resell an eligible item:
- Enter your order information in the Born Primitive Return Portal.
- Select the item you would like to resell.
- Choose the “Resell on Poshmark” option if it is available.
- You will be redirected to Poshmark to sign in or create an account.
- Review your listing details, set your price, and publish your listing.
Some item details may be pre-filled to make creating your listing easier, but you are responsible for reviewing and completing your listing before publishing.
What items are eligible for Resell on Poshmark?
Eligible items may include items that are no longer eligible for return through Born Primitive.
The “Resell on Poshmark” option may appear:
- After an item has passed the Born Primitive return window.
- For certain Final Sale items.
- For items that are otherwise not eligible for a standard return.
Please note: Items that have been worn or used are not eligible to be returned through the Born Primitive Return Portal. If an item no longer qualifies for a Born Primitive return due to wear, the “Resell on Poshmark” option may provide an alternative way to pass the item along to another customer.
Not all items will qualify for resale. If the option is not displayed in the Return Portal, the item is not currently eligible for this feature.
Can I resell a Final Sale item?
Final Sale items are not eligible for return or exchange through Born Primitive.
If a Final Sale item displays the “Resell on Poshmark” option in the Return Portal, you may choose to list the item for resale through Poshmark.
Reselling an item does not change Born Primitive’s Final Sale policy or make the item eligible for a return or exchange.
Can I resell an item after my return window has expired?
Yes, eligible items that are no longer within the Born Primitive return window may display the “Resell on Poshmark” option in the Return Portal.
This provides an alternative option for customers who no longer qualify for a standard return.
Can I resell an item that has been worn?
Worn items are not eligible for return or exchange through Born Primitive, as returns must meet our condition requirements and be in new, unworn, and resalable condition.
If a worn item is eligible for the “Resell on Poshmark” option in the Return Portal, customers may choose to list the item through Poshmark. Any resale transaction is completed independently through Poshmark and is the customer’s responsibility.
Does Born Primitive sell the item for me?
No. Born Primitive does not facilitate resale transactions.
If you choose to use the “Resell on Poshmark” option, the listing and transaction are completed directly through Poshmark. Customers are responsible for managing their listing, pricing, and communication through Poshmark.
Does Born Primitive guarantee that my item will sell?
No. Listing an item through Poshmark does not guarantee that it will sell.
Resale pricing, buyer interest, offers, and final sale outcomes are determined by Poshmark and the customer.
What happens to my earnings from a Poshmark sale?
Any earnings from a resale transaction are managed directly through Poshmark.

Does selling on Poshmark change Born Primitive’s return policy?
No. Reselling an item through Poshmark does not change Born Primitive’s return or exchange policies.
- Final Sale items remain ineligible for return or exchange.
- Items outside the return window remain ineligible for standard returns.
- Worn or used items remain ineligible for return through Born Primitive.
- Poshmark resale transactions are separate from Born Primitive’s return process.
Why don’t I see the “Resell on Poshmark” option?
The resale option is only available for eligible items.
If you do not see the “Resell on Poshmark” option in the Return Portal, the item is not currently eligible for resale through this feature.
Is Resell on Poshmark available internationally?
At this time, the Resell on Poshmark feature is only available for eligible customers in the United States.
