Our manufacturer defect warranty covers issues with <strong>materials or workmanship</strong> that were present when the product was manufactured or delivered.</p><h3 id="warranty-coverage">Warranty Coverage</h3><ul data-spread="false"><li><strong>Apparel / Gear / Accessories:</strong> 6 months from purchase</li><li><strong>Footwear:</strong> 12 months from purchase</li></ul><p>All warranty claims are reviewed <strong>case by case</strong>. <strong>Clear photos are required</strong> for all warranty claims, and additional information may be requested during the review.</p><h2 id="what-is-covered">What Is Covered</h2><p>Our warranty is intended for genuine manufacturing defects. Issues caused by normal use, outside factors, improper care, or use outside the product&#x2019;s intended purpose are generally not covered.</p><h2 id="velcro--tactical-gear">Velcro &amp; Tactical Gear</h2><p>Velcro and hook-and-loop materials can be <strong>extremely abrasive</strong> and may catch, pull, or damage fabric fibers. This is especially common with plate carriers, duty belts, tactical vests, pouches, packs, and similar equipment.</p><p><strong>Damage caused by Velcro or other tactical equipment is not considered a manufacturing defect.</strong></p><p>To help prevent damage, keep exposed Velcro secured when possible and avoid dragging it across apparel. Regularly check your equipment for worn or exposed hook-and-loop material.</p><h2 id="heat-exposure">Heat Exposure</h2><p>Our products are not designed for direct contact with extreme heat.</p><p><strong>Burns, melting, scorching, or other heat damage caused by suppressors, firearms, muzzle devices, hot brass, or other heat sources are not considered manufacturing defects.</strong></p><h3 id="drying">Drying</h3><p>We recommend <strong>air drying our products whenever possible</strong>. High heat from dryers can cause shrinkage, fading, loss of shape, and damage to fabrics, elastic, and technical materials.</p><p><strong>Damage caused by excessive heat or improper drying is not covered under warranty.</strong></p><h2 id="fr--nir-rated-products">FR / nIR-Rated Products</h2><p><strong>Born Primitive does not currently offer FR / nIR-rated (flame-resistant) products.</strong></p><p>Our team is working toward future products for customers who require flame-resistant protection.
